Ryan graduated in 2003 with a BA (Hons) in International Marketing Management and after spending a year in Paris and the UK working in marketing for a major automotive company he moved to China.

Ryan has diverse China experience spending his first year working with the local Government in Shaanxi and a year working directly for the CEO of a major Chinese corporation in Hangzhou. In 2006 Ryan moved to a leading international recruitment company where he became a Partner of the China business, building and managing a recruitment office in Shanghai across multiple disciplines.

Specialising in the legal sector, Ryan works across both Private Practice and In-House with a focus on the Shanghai market dealing with candidates from Associate to Partner level.

Ryan is fluent in English and Mandarin and is conversant in French.

Amanda Ou

Senior Consultant - Commerce & Industry

Amanda graduated with a dual Bsc degree of Arts in English and Public Relations from Beijing Language and Culture University.  She commenced her career in the semiconductor industry and has extensive sales experience in the APAC region managing global key accounts.  Prior to joining ALS, she managed the Shanghai Branch office of a leading global recruitment firm where she established and led teams across multiple disciplines.

Amanda specialises in recruitment of senior executives in the commerce and industry practice in China and Asia.

Amanda is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English with conversational French.

Jonathan Fung

Senior Consultant - Commerce & Industry

Jonathan graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle in Sydney, Australia.  He then spent almost a decade managing turnaround projects within the logistics industry, based in a variety of locations, including Philippines, United States, and the Greater China region.

In 2006, Jonathan joined a U.K boutique executive search firm in Hong Kong as an Associate where he was responsible for client, candidate and research management gaining his first exposure to the end to end recruitment process.  Jonathan worked in different practices and functional areas where he covered executive roles such as CFO, Operations Vice Presidents, Directors and Asia Pacific Regional Heads.  In November 2008, Jonathan moved to Shanghai as a Senior Consultant transacting senior executive assignments predominately in the Logistics, Automotive, FMCG and Industrial/Manufacturing industries across the Asia Pacific region.

Jonathan is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
