This is a newly created role (original COE function in HQ and moved to Asia) that provides an excellent opportunity to work in a global company on the COE function. Reporting to the Director of Benefits, you will act as the leader of benefit programs in the region for over 10+ countries and locations in Asia, researching and developing benefit programs in lines with global standard and tailor-make them to local practice. You will be actively coordinating with the global HR C&B team to collect, analyse quantitative market and financial data, complete statistical modelling and assessment of regulatory restrictions.
Additionally you will also review plan documents and contracts for compliance with plan provisions and provide written analysis of potential contract additions. You will coordinate legal review to ensure that global statutory legislative requirements are met.
You will also design, develop and deliver training and informational programs on benefits to other HR professionals and employees at all levels, including executives.
This position requires mature HR candidates with a minimum of 5 years related experience in benefits design. Experience in regional benefits programs is preferred. You are required to have sound knowledge of retirement plans, medical plans, life, AD&D, disability plans, Paid Time Off, work/life benefits, and benefit allowances. You must also have experience in analysing competitive benefits practices. You must also be able to converse in English and Mandarin fluently.
