Director Securities Lending Sales

Our client is a global bank that currently trades securities lending out of London and New York.  They are in the process of setting up a desk in Hong Kong and are looking to hire a sales person with a proven track record in Asia.

Reporting into the Asia Head of Sales and the Global Head of Product you will work alongside the agency securities lending trading desk and team of relationship managers to leverage the current client portfolio and push this product as a complement to custody and asset servicing.  You will also use your existing relationships with the asset owners in Asia to introducing the product portfolio and start generating revenue.  This is a great opportunity to join a well capitalised global bank that is expanding in Asia.

To be considered for this opportunity you will require:

• 15 years financial services experience with a proven track record in Asia selling securities services products to asset managers, sovereign wealth, non-bank FI’s or central/domestic banks;
• Good understanding of agency securities lending ideally with SFC Type 8 licence for securities and margin financing;
